The Hikkeduwa Community Charitable Trust
Our charity The Hikkeduwa Community Charitable Trust was set up after the Tsunami, as my husband and I were injured in the Tsunami whilst on holiday in Sri Lanka.
Over the past almost three years now we have raised over £30,000 to help local people.
Our most important and ongoing initiative has been with the Lake School in Hikkaduwa. Presently we are raising funds to provide a halfway house for boys leaving the school prior to re-entering the local community.
